I am starting to work on my car. I have access to a heated garage and "every tool known to man". No lift though

i voted lowering springs because it will be an easy beginning modification, takes about 2 hours max total cost of about 230$ including alignment (depending on spring choice i gave 60$ for alignment and 170$ for actual springs). it will change the overall look of the vehicle giving an agressive stance and will give you a greatly increased amount of control/handling

QUOTE(playr158 @ Feb 23, 2006 - 5:38 AM) i voted lowering springs because it will be an easy beginning modification, takes about 2 hours max total cost of about 230$ including alignment (depending on spring choice i gave 60$ for alignment and 170$ for actual springs). it will change the overall look of the vehicle giving an agressive stance and will give you a greatly increased amount of control/handling 2 Hours?? Maybe if you have help or you have done lowering springs on a Celi before. Also, you can run into tool problems like I did or those damn sway bar end links. I would be embarrassed to tell you how long it took me...but I had never done suspension work before. |
