How many 4 letter combinations can be made using A,B,C,D,E,F? No letters can be used more than once.

Ya, the "!" is the factorial.
The answer is 6! / (6! - 4!), since you're picking 4 letters. So it turns out to be 6! / 2! which is 6 x 5 x 4 x 3.
