I love VW. I wonder how fast you could really make the 1.8T. Very pretty car. I'm noticing a lot of small details all over that thing. I think it's better than that BMW. It's more refined.

I know a person with a rebuilt 1.8T block and new turbo pushing 350 hp to the front wheels. So you can do alot with it really..

Why are they considered the engines for novice tuners who don't want much hp? And the VR6 is the one everyone uses. They've been using that same 1.8 for a long time. I like it, and I've always thought it would work better than most give it credit. 350hp is high. Is the car street worthy?
