bah it seems like every car is to 'blah' (for lack of better workds) for me. I looked into the STI (and its still my main choice atm) but for $32k I cant really do much mods to it. I started looking into the rx7's which sounded pretty cool for a moment until I started doing more research and found out they only last for about 50k miles then the engine blows. Supra, to expensive and now im just lookin for a newcar thats kinda rare and fun to drive. Any ideas?

Sorry, but "like a bat out of hell". Does that mean nice and decent driving? Or really hard driving? I can't really relate to that sentence..

It means he drove it hard. Or as I like to call it "Spirited" Driving

So driving an RX-7 hard for 140k miles is what takes to break them.. I wouldn't worry too much then. I have another 110k miles left (and I'm not gonna drive it hard). So probably even more. Or about the same, as mine is twin turbo and will wear and tear a bit faster.

But rotary engines isn't all that bad that people think they are. I wouldn't say breaking down after 140k miles of 'spirited driving' is bad. Rebuild with new seals and some other stuff.. And you have another 140k miles.

That's not a good enough reason to not get the car IMO.
