Hey, I'm new to the forums and was looking into getting a 6th generation celica, it seemed to be in my price range and I'm getting bored with my Catera. Anyways I just had a few simple questions. Does it have airbags. How do insurances companies look at them, I don't have the best driving record and the cost of insurance is probably going to be the biggest decision maker in which car I get. One last thing is I was wondering what the stock acceleration was like, 0-60 and 1/4 times basically.

engine swap probably isnt a good idea if you are worried about insurance... id say just enjoy it at stock, maybe some suspension and basic bolt ons would be good for starting out.... wait till the insurance company becomes a little more leanient with ur record, then go for a bigger power boost....
