my last car was a 92 tsi with full 3'' exhaust and a underdrive pulley. but when i was driving it home one day the oil filter came loose and it blew up. now my question is does anybody know if swapping out the motor in my 94 gt would be faster than just rebuilding my eagle.

Both cars can be down-right fast of course. But stock for stock, heres my opinion- A swapped Celica will be a little quicker than a stock Talon. Both are certainly quick, but I know a couple people with stock DSM's and they aren't as fast as a 3SGTE swapped Celica.
However with a blown 4G63 you can rebuild the motor with the 1st gen bottom end and the 7-bolt top end like alot of DSM guys do, and make that thing really fly for about the same or less money as a swap in the Celica. This would be my reccomendation, because you can get alot of go-fast parts for less money for your Talon and keep the Celica a daily driver, ultimately saving you money in the long run.
