my last car was a 92 tsi with full 3'' exhaust and a underdrive pulley. but when i was driving it home one day the oil filter came loose and it blew up. now my question is does anybody know if swapping out the motor in my 94 gt would be faster than just rebuilding my eagle.

lagos is rite. despite all the cars i raced and beat fixing your car gets old. mine is just a fwd so i didnt have to worry about the rear end going out but i had to replace an alternator twice. the crankpulley was bad so it was ruining alternators and finally it threw my timing belt off, which everybody knows thats bad news in one of those engines. but here is the worst part of my story. 6 days after i got the head rebuilt ($1600) from the timing belt coming off the OIL FILTER came loose and blew my car up on the way home from mcdonalds. now if anyone has worst luck than that i would like 2 hear.
