i just got my 225-45-17 kumho asx installed on my 17x7 rims. the ride quality is a MILLION times better then the horrible 205-40s i had before. the pic dosnt really do them justice, but the car has a bad ass look to it now with these tires. you can also tell that they are a lot wider when looking at the front of the car, and should provide much better traction then the tires i had before.. they even made the car sit about 3/4th of an inch higher (just eyeballing it) and speed bumps are no longer a problem like they used to be. im very happy with them so far
here is a before and after: old 205-40-17s ![]() new 225-45-17s ![]() This post has been edited by lagos: Feb 20, 2006 - 7:15 PM -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

QUOTE(jgreening @ Mar 3, 2006 - 8:49 PM) QUOTE(elvasoshexai @ Mar 3, 2006 - 1:07 PM) so does 225-45-17 mess up ur spedometer reading? When your speedometer reads 60mph, you will be travelling 62.8 mph. tire size calculator whoopty fukin dooo. ill try to keep this in mind while i enjoy my near stock ride quality. dont worry jay, im not saying that at you, just at all the people on here that get rubber band tires because they worry about 1-2mph being off on their speedo. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
