Well, there it is. 2000 dollars for a complete paint job. Only body work they will be doing is replacing new driver's fender. It comes out to 800 for the paint and 1200 in labour. I still have to get the rust off the doors :smilie of old guy hanging himself: . How much would you/did you pay for this job?

as already mentioned, it's hard to put a definite quote on how much a full paint job costs.. it all depends on how well it's prepped and the cost for paint, labor etc etc.
i did the bodywork and paint on my 4th gen 2 years ago when i still had it for about $400 cdn. though it looked alright from afar but had all this tiny orange peel when viewed close up. but for a quick and somewhat-decent-enough paint after some quick bodywork, i was satisfied enough. but when i repaint my 6th gen another color this summer, i'm definitely going to my sister's buddy (he's a professional detailer/bodyman). he repainted my sister's 6th gen with some bodywork included for $1400 and he did an awesome job. practically took off every piece of the car (like window trims, bumpers..) and it was very nice! -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
