Item # 4616708459

I was the second high bidder on this - and the seller sent me an offer to purchase if highest bidder did not fall through. --

I have an auto 96 with over 200k miles and planned on doing a 3sgte swap within the next 2 months. Since i Have an auto - i would need to do a manual conversion and buy all the extra parts .

I figured I would use this salvage as the project since its already a manual and would not have to do too much as if i were to use the auto.

I've been looking for a 2ndary transportation car and will be picking up one from another member on here in April to use when the swap project starts. But I could not resist the ebay one - if that high bidder does not fall through which i think they will not (suspicion that the seller is using another account to bid on it to raise the bid) than i will end up having 3 celica's -- if it all works out - i will be keeping the salvage one and end up selling the other two or selling just one and have 2 celica

glad to hear comments and criticisms

I'm not saying the seller is scamming you, but thats alot of money to spend on a Celica that looks as bad as mine was(about $6000 damage), and you have'nt even figured in the cost of shipping or towing it that far(NY to Texas). I would look for one closer to your own state.

i've already figured the cost of shipping before hand - this is the 2nd time he listed this item - i also bid the 1st time it was listed, but didn't win - shipping was between 400-500 - which is fine with me - as long as i could keep the total cost under $1500 i wasn't to worried --- parts i can replace - the only thing that worried me was how bad the frame damage was
