> FORGMANN > From cincinnati > hey, Hey FORGMANN; > just in case anyone is interested i will have a hybrid 1mz/3mz available soon .. > i seriously thought about keeping 3mz and doing a twin turbo v6 set up in my st205 Have you test fitted a V6 into an ST20# chassis ? There was talk of the rear ex manifolds hitting the firewall in an ST18# set up. The rear cylinder bank will not clear the rear drive shaft either. Maybe using a Highlander/rx300/Sienna v6 set up ? Would be an interestin swap. > but with a lot less time and money i can make over 300hp no sweat with 3sgte .. Easliy. > besides i am sure i would have been asked why i jacked with st205 so i will stay with orginal motor .. Since the car is not native here only an enthusiast would Know/care ? Plus any v6 in a 6th gen would be Unique. Let alone a turbo 4wd one. :-) > good luck swappers ...!! The fwd swap is doable. AWD has yet to be done by anyone. I think it would require a Lot more than luck. Regards; |
