Well, I have decided to open a shop. I have been getting things ready and hope to be up and running very soon. I am having a web page built right now and it is about half way done. Ok, i know this is going to sound really cut short but to make this as simple as i possibly can. basic gt to 3s swap...
pulling the 3s motor from the clip
pulling the 5s motor from the celica
make a hybrid harness
put the gt trans on the 3s and drop it in with harness
bolt it all in & pop the axles back in
you are looking at $1100 labor olny and a week to do a swap! (Wiring labor is included in that cost)
options you can add and i advise you do so....
Obviously you will need fresh fluids and that is not covered in labor cost.
New Clutch?
Resurface Flywheel?
Tune up (blets, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel pump, fuel filter)
engine bay clean up?
what do do about exhaust?
tmic or fmic?
all these extra parts are bought by you and i charge a little extra for installation due to more time involved.
Now ask yourself the question...What kind of swap do i want to end up with in the end ...and choose the options you want to add.
how cheap do you want to go about doing the swap?
