2 airbags, 2 front crash sensors, and ecu?
what about a clock spring, is this a one time usage piece? does the passenger airbag door need to be replaced? http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=12506& this thread in particular makes it sound like replacing airbags is near impossible, however it is old and more recent threads have suggested only the parts i listed above. which is it? thanks again everyone for putting up with so many questions -brian |

Drivers Airbag
Passenger Airbag Center Sensor Clock Spring Air Bag Door Passenger 2 Front Sensors what about a clock spring, is this a one time usage piece? Yes does the passenger airbag door need to be replaced? That I am not sure on, my was scratched pretty bad from the broken glass. But being an AIRbag, I would think you would'nt want to take a chance on little pieces of glass rupturing a new bag. this thread in particular makes it sound like replacing airbags is near impossible, however it is old and more recent threads have suggested only the parts i listed above. Not impossible just costly. Read what I wrote in that thread about locating a body shop that will let you install used parts, it was a nightmare. Good luck -------------------- ![]() |
