Twin Turbo SRT-4 Options

just for anyone interested in an SRT-4 they are currently in the process of making a Twin Turbo kit that is very near completion. They are supposed to take it to the dyno and get some real numbers out of it and it should be for sale within the next few weeks. Now im definatly getting an SRT-4.

SRT4's are still 1) hell of alot faster than a celi 2) 4 doors so its more practical 3) easy as hell 2 mod

so is a evo or a wrx sti for about the same cost and in my opion much more dependable

... look at what you just wrote. The srt4 will cost you $20k brand new, you spend $3000 on the stage 3 w/ toys. Thats a low 13's car for $23k. A brand new Evo MR that runs low 13's out the box is $37k. So $14k less and you have the same speed without AWD. And have you ever done the research on the evo? lol if so I know you didnt put the word Evo and reliable in the same sentence. www.evolutionm.net check up on them.

people have hit 12's on the stock turbo

stage 3 is good for low low 12's. i think some have hit 11's

my friend just got a 2006 evo(not an MR, which is $4k more for almost nothing) for $30k out the door. msrp on an srt4, when they were still making them, was 21.9K.

so if you want a brand new car, you are SOL if you want an srt4(unless you wait for the ugly ass caliber srt4). maybe a few dealers have 1 or 2 left. or you could go with a cobalt SS/SC

WHo the hell wants a Neon look? that is why you are getting made fun of. Saying i have the fast srt-4 is like saying you are the smartest kid with down syndrome. The only good thing about dodge is if they are in the demolition derby. Neons are the most unreliable car made by any car manufacturer in like 30 years. I would take a ford tempo over a srt-4.

are you speaking from first hand experience? did you own an srt4? did it break down on you a lot?

the only reason people make fun of them is because they offer up cheap speed and power. evo's are ugly, wrx's and sti's are ugly, F bodies are ugly. just because the car is ugly, it does not change what the car is designed and built to do

a fast car is a fast car, plain and simple

like i said earlier, i have a friend with an SRT4 and right when he drove it off the lot he started beating the crap out of it and hasnt stopped. not a single problem has come up. my cousin is a sales manager at the local dodge dealership and he doesnt see SRT4's comming in left and right for repairs

i would drive an srt4 in a heart beat if someone gave it to me.
