My autometer boost gauge is no longer working and I am looking for another gauge. I am probably going to get another autometer phatom gauge but wanted to know what everyone else is running. Maybe there is something better for the same $.

QUOTE(Speedy2k @ Mar 10, 2006 - 2:35 AM) Heh good question! Well I accidently dropped the gauge and that threw the calibration off. So instead of reading "0", it read about 3psi. I decided to open the gauge up and see if I could move the arrow back to "0". After playing around with it I got it back at zero. I plug the gauge and it no longer works Oh lagos I also noticed that you have a phatom autometer too. Did you replace the bulb with a blue one, cause mine had a regular "yellow" bulb. i had to fix mine before too, because it started reading 2 psi with the car off. you just take off the face plate and pull the needle off. then press it back on so that it reads a perfect 0. had to do the same thing with my oil presure gauge, now they work great. like manny said... get a 194 led that has at least 6 leds in there. you can also use those color condoms for some colors, but if you want blue, the led is your only option. if you are looking to get something better quality, then look into greddy gauges. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Thats what I did but instead of taking the needle off, I just turned it by hand. I guess I broke something inside ****!!! Now nothing happens in vacuum or boost Hmmm maybe I should send it to autometer and say it broke |
