well yeah but on a bike taking 10% off the disks is taking a much bigger persentage of the overall weight off the bike, on a car the disks are such a small amount compared to the total weight that even if there 10% lighter 10% total of all disk weight loss (if each disk is 10% lighter,) there is no were near enough to fell, it would be maybe 5 lbs your better off going on a diet or takeing the deck out to lose car weight. and atleast that would not be causing less break surface area.

the more unsprung weight you can remove the better, it makes a much more noticable difference than say removing your trunk liner or the rear bench... however still, id like to see these weighed side by side with a standard rotor... honestly i dont think the weight difference would be enough to pursuade me to make my car look retarded.
