As the title says someone broke into my car mid-last week. They broke out both passenger side windows and unsuccesfully tried to steal my stereo. So right now I'm getting the windows fixed and I have a broken dash and head unit.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my dash back into shape? They pried on it pretty good and the whole center concole looks bent. The main trim peice is cracked in a few places with a peice missing across the bottom and then the pocket below the cd player and its door are completely smashed. As for the cd player, I have/had(depending on how you look at it) a Kenwood KDC-519, and I would like to find a service manual for it. I'm pretty good with electronics and think I may be able to at least get it to where it can use the radio. Anyone know where I could find a service manual. I found a few sites where I could buy one but just seeing if anyone knew of a free or cheaper place to get them. Thanks for any help you guys can offer. |

I've had good experiences with a lot of Alpine head units. They have models to fit your budget. www.crutchfield.com has a lot of good information. Their prices aren't always the cheapest, but their service and installation help rock.
