It's hard looking so fast, Cars pull up to race thinking your fast Options

The problem with having a Celica is the fact that it looks so darn fast. So fast that every Tom, Dick and Harry who has a sports car wants to take there chances with you. It's even hard to pass any sports car on the road because they just don't want to let a Celica go by. That's why people it is a must to get your cars as fast a possible, decieve the person you are passing or is willing to pull up next to you and rev there engine. Make them think that it is stock, or you just have some rims on it then...blow them away. How does anyone else feel about this?

Whats the deal with everyone, why is it that so many people make their car look nice first then work on the performance. Whatever makes you happy I guess but with the money some of you guys spend on body kits, JDM lights, sterios etc...you could do an engine swap or turbo. This is me but I'd rather drive a car with peeling paint that could run 12s and be glued to the road than something that looks like a million bucks but gets beaten by mini vans. I wouldnt leave it that way for long but while you guys are waiting to buy the 'go' ill be waiting to buy the 'show', don't get me wrong all you guys with the kits and rims have awsome looking cars, I still cant get over how great Celicas look with that stuff. I think they look better than Supras but Im partial to the round lights from growing up with MGs. Anyone with me? After driving my friends 280hp BMW M3 I've gotten worse, that $hit hauled ass but it wouldnt be enough for long. A Road and Track writer who took a spin in a Toyota Atlantic car said racing is like heroin without the needle...so true so true, its actually better than heroin IMO.
