Well I'm installing my OEM Fog Light "push" Switch I got on ebay- Switch located beside diver side vent. Its of of a ST202. I figured its alot cleaner look than after market switches. Anyways, I ran into some confusion on how to wire it. There are four wires. But the wiring (not stock) leading to my fogs now only consist of 2 wires- well at least from a quick glance under the dash. However, the wiring was from after market fogs (later I just hooked up OEM fogs using the same wirring) came with a light up switch (which I did not use). So I think the wiring has capability of lighting up a switch (I think).
Need some direction... Does anyone know what each wire does? Can I neglect a couple of wires? here's a pic of the OEM wiring from the button. ![]() -------------------- ![]() |

im thinkin this is how it works. the led in the switch should have its own power and ground. on a stereo wiring harness ORANGE=ILLUMINATION so i geuss that would make GREEN=GROUND so u can wire those into your parking lights so the light comes on when you turn your headlights/park lights on. RED=NEGATIVE and BLACK/WHITE=POSITIVE on the fog relay. boom your set.

QUOTE(Shea_K47 @ Mar 16, 2006 - 11:54 PM) so you're using aftermarket wiring? are the fogs hooked up to just the switch/power/ground or did you use the stock relay? Yeah its not a stock harness/wiring... I assume all the aftermarket wiring has is power/ground/and maybe elumination... just because the switch it came with had a light up switch.... but thats me assuming. I will be for sure tommorrow when I take a good look. -------------------- ![]() |
