Ok well I'm 21, I live at home, but I have a nice car. I do almost all of the work myself. I would like to start my own business doing what I love to do. Selling body kits, wheels, car audio, installing stuff and I have a buddy that just got out of school for painting. Since I am young, female and I would be a first time business owner I qualify for grants. I know www.grants.gov is one way to apply but does anyone have any tips or advice to give me. I plan on next week going and getting my vendors license. But how do I register my name with the state? I know some other girl had a business but I'm sorry I can't remember who it was. One of my concerns was in the winter time, what would we do. I know car and audio is big all year round but what eles. Any advice??

you go to city hall and get a business liscense. there are many books you can buy about this topic.
your not just going to get a grant to start something. if it were that easy, everyone would be their own boss. you have to have some money to put up to get inventory and figure out how you will turn it into a profit. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
