i was looking around and it looks like if i buy a 3sge and turbo that it iwll be cheaper because if i buy a 3sgte im gonna make it a front mount intercooler and change the piping anyway im gonna change the bov and changer the turbo manifold so i think its smarter the only extra thing i have to buy is a turbo and im set since the 3sge is 500 bux and the 3sgte is 1400 i think its way smarter what do you guys say??

I'm running a turbo'd 3rd gen 3SGE - but I'm using the turbo's pistons, so its essentially a 3SGTE. The 3SGE ECU will allow you to run low boost levels without issues.
If your planning on serious modifications, then the 3SGE can be a better route to go. Why spend $2500 on a 3rd gen 3SGTE if you plan on swapping with forged pistons, bigger injectors and bigger turbo kit? I bought a 3SGE partial clip for $900 from Jarco. -------------------- Scott
