Yesterday i had a street race against a sierra cosworth rs500 and while i activated the nitrus beck the tube nearly exploded! Thank to my mechanic i had an extra safety valve that propably worked and stopped the nos supplyment to my intake. Some people there told me that propably this happened because of overheated intake, but i dont think that the temp was so high to cause this problem, and in the past i have use the nos, with much more temp. Does anyone know something about this problem or had something like this in the past?? I dont want to know what would happened if the 10 lbs of the bottle would explode, but i dont want to loose the extra (just in case) boost!!
Is there any website with a specific forum about the nitrus oxide systems, or some advanced informations about troubleshooting??

The car is in my hands again!!!
The final diagnose is that all this happened from a broken foger that propably had a leak or something like that. With the new parts they tested the system 4 times (!!!!) last night and it was working ok and full functioned but i will need time to switch the throttle on again. That thing scared me a bit.. And i am still searching for the manifacturer website to get in touch with them and have their opinion about this thing.
My system is tuned to give me a kick of about 110hp, as it is in the lower settings. When it is used for dragster, the kick can reach maybe 200hp+ but i dont want to push my engine that hard. The cost of the system including installation and settings was 1100 euros propably much more money than those that you would be asked for the same thing in the States.
