Well, I have been problem free since I bought my car back in early 03. I guess I'm about due because of all the racing I do. I don't race a ton, but I do run my car hard a lot. I've noticed my car is now eating radiator fuild, and what's there is brown. And, I'm leaking more oil than I was, even after replacing the gasket at the camshaft, and the valve cover gasket. I really don't want to put another 5sfe in there. I was rather a 4age, 3sge, or 3sgte. Those are my choices, and in that order. What ever I find, and is most cost affective, I might put in. I might end up putting another 5sfe, or just replacing the head gasket. But I really don't want to do that. I have no time to mess with it, so I'm worried that I might stay with this POS 5sfe.

Things are looking bad. The car is eating oil and radiator fuild, and now it's knocking. It's not knocking bad yet though. Here is were I need some advice from those who know me. What should I do? Should I really swap in the V6? I have an uncle who is very knowledgable, but not a lot of import swaps to his name. He's just a very smart backyard machanic kind of guy. Most know how much I know from my posts. I'm not an idiot, but I'm certainly no expert. Money is also an issue at this point as well. I'm a full time student with no income at all. My parents are going to have to pay for everything I do. I don't feel right making them pay a good bit more for the V6 than to just rebuild the 5sfe, or buy a new 5sfe. Since I'm a 94, I know it would be a trick getting the wiring from a 96up 5sfe. Just wondering what you all think I should do at this point. Thanks.
