Well a while back I took my lisence plate off the front and washed back behind it. I liked it without it bolted right in the middle of the bumper, so I put it up in my window. The only problem is that in Washington you HAVE to have a front plate and it HAS to be in "clear view" for officers (please.. when was the last time a cop ran your plates from the front?) so I was thinking about putting it down in the grille area on the passenger or driver side, but don't know how exactly to bolt it up. Maybe bend the top and bolt into the crash bar? maybe not? Advice?

really havent seen it anywhere else but on the front bumper. i say go for it and see how the plate looks in the grill area. maybe use some twisties first to see.
