From some of my recent posts, most of you know I'm having some car problems right not. Now, I'm wondering what is the normal oil pressure range while warmed up? I'd appreciate all the help I can get on this. It's stressing me out a good bit. Thanks.

QUOTE(lagos @ Mar 25, 2006 - 5:16 PM) what oil gauge are u using? whats the brand? mechanical or electrical? what readings are u getting on a cold start up and on a fully warmed up idle? I can't remember the brand. It is mechanical. I'm getting about 60-65 cold, then about 50-57 at warmed up 3-4k rpm, and about 15-20 at an idiol. It's okay though. I was worried but then I found out that since I put it on the top, it was getting info from the return line. 15psi on a return is good pressure, I'm told. My dad bought the gauge for me. It's nice looking. It changes colors as well, my dad thought that would be cool. And the king of bling was cussing me because I wanted to paint the chrome mounting bracket black. "Why would you ever want to paint over chrome?" Most of my issues are with the cooling system. I need a new radiator. I was worried about a head gasket. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
