Well i just got a '96 celica for 3600, i paid about 800 to a mechanice to just about replace and fix up everythign under the hood. Got new brakes and tires and now i want to do a bit of upgrading but i have no idea what to do!

my speakers are horrible but i have no idea what to buy

i was on ebay and just bought some headlight bulbs on ebay but when they arrived they said they draw from 100- 170 watts, i'm not sure, but doesn't that seem like way to much??

i bought a speed chip, some new gauges and a new intake, seat covers (previous owner was a smoker), and a dash kit.... non of which i have installed yet

i want to know what else i can buy to really make my baby stand out tho, i have a 1.8L 4 cylinder engine and just about everything else is stock... this is my first car, can anyone help me?

Welcome to the site! Well first of all tell us about this "speed chip" I dont think too many people on here believe in them. If you want your car to stand out just get some rims. They are the easiest thing that can make your car look a lot nicer, as long as you choose the right ones biggrin.gif Some lowering springs and nicer struts (I would suggest Tein S Techs and KYBs) would make you stand out a little bit as well. As far as engine stuff, aside from turboing or engine swap like bindertch said, there isnt a lot that you can do to make the 1.8 engine powerful. There isnt a lot of aftermarket support for our cars, so we are really limited to what we have to modify with, but just take a look at the parts database and seach around the site and you can find some things to help you out with your decisions.
