I was driving the other day and found myself stuck idling at 2,000 rpm everytime i came to a stop. Any explanations? it did it for about half an hour and then hasnt done it again since.

Sometimes the vibration from the motor moves the bolts that hold the throttle cable in place on my car. This will cause the idle to sick higher. I stick my foot under the pedal and pull it up and it goes back down to normal. If you can do that, I think that'll be your problem. Otherwise, I could be something with the air intake. Have you checked to see if it's clean? Sometimes that can make your idle go a little funny.
