I was driving the other day and found myself stuck idling at 2,000 rpm everytime i came to a stop. Any explanations? it did it for about half an hour and then hasnt done it again since.

Could be a vacuum leak, get some carb cleaner and spray it around your intake, if your idle suddenly goes up then that's your leak.
