Hey all, my '94 has the leather wrapped steering wheel. I've started noticing some pretty good sized wear spots on it, though (kind of like my shift knob before i replaced that). Anyways, does anyone know if I cut the leather off if the standard rubber/plastic steering wheel is underneath, or is it just metal? I'm considering getting it rewrapped at an upholsterer, but I'll have to shop it around when I get out of Oklahoma. And please don't suggest a steering wheel cover. I've never seen on that actually looks good.

Why won't yours mount up straight? Is it something wrong with the wheel itself? Thanks for the plug, I might be interested.
