Ok, my car has had a 3800rpm redline. Has since I bought it over a year and a half ago. Got some advice about it, not alot. I dont know what else to do or look for. I finally just got my transmission put back in and started the car (with new ecu this time) and still no rev. I'm tired of my ass slow gt. I'm probblly just going to sell it when i get it all fixed. Or let my girlfriend drive it, well no car deserves that so I'll probablly just sell it and loose a lot of money.

What's this limiter like?? Does it just hit a wall and stop without sounding choppy or does it break up at 3800 RPM??
An initial thought of mine would be your fuel pump. Have you checked fuel pressure?? Make sure you hvae a load on the car and you're not trying to check it by neutral revving the car like I had a lincoln dealership do. A neutral rev won't tell you crap. You need to hook the pressure gauge up and tape it to the windshield and drive the car (of course this is all null if you have a pressure gauge mounted int he car). -------------------- |
