Ok, time to start picking tires for the new shoes. Of course, size is going to be 215/35-18. What we're looking for is outstanding dry traction, as good as it gets for the tire series wet traction, and good cornering abilities. Now.......
Originally we were looking at the Yokohama Parada Spec-2. But, the lack of wet traction turned us off to those. While perusing around, I happened to stumble across the following tire: Linky To Tire -- Now, don't let the fact that it's a General tire scare you off. It's rated #1 in category just ahead of the BFG g-Force T/A KDW2, which is our other choice right now at almost twice the price. The General gives up a little cornering and turn-in stability to the g-Force, but makes up for it with wet traction and ride noise/comfort. So......$86 each for the General Exclaim UHP, or $159 each for the KDW2's. For a comparison LOOK HERE. -------------------- |

F1 GSD 3's here too, they are amazing in both wet and dry but they do wear quickly (on a GT4 anyway) over here (UK) the best price I got them for is £90 each in 215/45/17 not sure about US prices. I have not heard of a better tyre, a similar one is called a Toyo Proxe T1R.
Nathan -------------------- 1994 JDM ST205 WRC with 17" OZ Chrono's wearing 215/45/17 Eagle F1's. HKS Induction Kit, Blitz DV, Decat and full SS System, Blitz SBC-iD and Power Meter running at 1.12Bar = 17mpg and a lot of fun
