I have a quick question....i have CF replica GT4 hood, and my question is do i need the internal hood heat shield to protect the engine at all?? Or is that mainly to protect the paint of the oem hoods..any ideas,thanks

thanks guys that helps, ya i saw that one on ebay and it got me wondering if that stops rain or anything from gettin into the engine bay, i am however pickin up both those hood grilles/scoops
