 steering wheel removal, how to? |

I want to put a steering wheel off the 7th generation celicas on my 95 gt and was wondering if this is possible or if anyone has done it. Also how do you remove the wheel without deploying the airbag when unhooking it?

You'll need to disconnect the battery first, wait a few minutes, before doing the steps above. Normally, I don't really need a steering wheel puller. After you've loosen the nut holding the steering wheel to the column, use your hands and whack the steering wheel from behind a few times and it should come loose. But......I would not recommend even attempting to hook up the 7gen airbag to the 6gen. |
