yea i don't wanna mess anytning up in my car by mistake, does anyone know how to take the wing off. pictures would be nice

I'm not sure what wing you have... but the idea should still be the same:
Remove this plastic piece, there are no bolts are anything, just snaps on and off:  There's only 2 bolts holding the 2 post together, I think they're 12mm's or 14mm's, but they're located as pictured:
