Longer shifters place your hand closer to the shifter when it's on the steering wheel, for faster shifts and faster return to the steering wheel after shifts.

ST205`s had seriously long shifters...get rid and buy a shorter after market one....makes changing gear much better and faster due to the shorter throw which far outwieghs the extra 2-3" your hand has to travel to reach the gear stick in the first place. |
