SACF II on a N/A motor, usefull? or useless?? Options

So ok, i made a goal for my self a few weeks back, and ive started to work on it. My goal is i wanna be the fastest N/A, no spray, non-swaped (i.e. 3sgte, 3sge, beams, 20V, 4agze, etc.. original type of motor..jdm or not) 6th gen in my province. Right now there arent to many celis out there, and i dont think any one on this site from ontario goes 2 the track too often. So, i have my exhaust done, my intake is gettin revamped soon, my headers are on, so i was thinking...maybe next thing to do would be fuel management. I talked to one of my friends and he said an SAFC2 would b a quick easy way of controlling it. My question is, on a stock internal JDM 5s, would a SAFC be worth while?? would it allow me to controll how much power i could produce at all?? Im very interested, but dont wanna spend a crap load of $ on a full piggy back system like an E-manage or a megasquirt. And please dont post useless crap on here sayin "ur cars not gonna b that fast" or "thats a stupid goal" or n e crap like that.

if you want to go the N/A route, you will need to be very anal about everything. Shave weight off here and there will add up. Complete port and polish and alot of heat sheild wraping around the intake, header, exhaust. You will need to run high octain and advance timing.
