Si finally got my 3sgte clip in today..So excited to put it in now. I was jsut wondering where the ECU is located in the cars. Is it usually behind the center console or underneath the seat. Cuz if it is underneath the seat then i didnt get one with it. ANd if i didnt get one with it do i just use my 5sfe one?

It was probably cheaper and much simpler for Toyota to produce and bolt up a A2A at the time as opposed to having to use a W2A and do the extra plumbing, wiring, heat exchanger, etc.
Nothing wrong with a good TMIC thats A2A, as long as its designed well enough not to soak up alot of heat and be efficient with boost.....something that I've read Toyota missed the mark with on the 2nd gen motor. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
