ok my special friend ran into a celica supra, i believe 88 or 86, it has a 5mge i believe, its a 5m lol forgot the rest, i can get the whole car (or front clip) for about 500-600 and it runs.. now i poped the hood and it looks like one of those engines thats been in a junk yard for a lil while, so needs some cleaning up but other than that the bay is perfect.. now im pretty sure its a v6 and sits vertical unlike the celi however it didnt seem soo big, so maybe it will fit into the celica?? the rear of the car was kinda screwed up nothing to bad but i dont think u can rrestore the whole car.. but the entire front from doors up is mint.. i mean not any rust and paint is really good.. so anyone think this is possible?

Celica Supras are fun. WE had a 85 Ptype.. first "sportscar" ive ridden in. Theres a decent size group of enthusiast and the aftermarket for them is good. For engine swaps you can do an ordinary or some not so ordinary. Ordinary would be the 6MGE(JDM motor), 7MGTE(MKIII Turbo).. The not so ordinary would be 1JZGTE, 2JZGTE, and the 1UZFE( V8! Babeh)
Theres a 2JZGTE swapped MKII in my area. He is still running a W58 tranny.. But the rearend kicks hard on launches. Here the site dedicated to them Ol' Skool Supras www.CelicaSupra.com |
