Hi
I am about to buy a gen 6 celica here in Romania. But I am not sure if I should do this.

I could find only one gen 6 celica for sale here (and I was looking for 2 months) so I don't have where to choose from. The car is a 1.8, 115HP.(7A-FE engine).

Problem is that this celica has 250 000 km, the engine was changed. Car looks fine, the engine is ok.

I am afraid that these cars being so rare here in Romania it will cost me too much to upkeep. I mean if something will brake down I will have to import the broken part from Europe, this will get a little expensive.

I can not import one from europe because it does not have EURO 3 or 4 emission standard.

What do you think? Should I buy this one or just go for something that I can find on every street (like VW Golf for example)?
This is my dream car.

Can you give me some online shops where I can find stuff for Celica?

Please tell me what is the fuel consumption for a Celica with 7A-FE engine(1.8 115HP). But tell me from your experience, not what is written in the manual.

What other Toyotas have the 7A-FE engine(any corolla or something?)?

Sorry for bad english!
Feel free to comment.
Thanks

I think you've answered your own question here. When spending a big amount of $, you need to think with your head rather than your heart. Okay, the car may be okay, but what do you do when something breaks? Can you afford to import parts? If you can, then buy one. If you can't then my advice would be to look at something else.
