My buddy got pulled over in his s2000 last week in Glendale for loud exhaust (hks highpower). He was going 15mph tops in a construction zone(becuase of mean dips and stuff) and a bike cop pulled him over. At that speed thist car is NOT loud at all. He made him pop his hood. Luckly he had street legal AEM and DC headers. Now he has an appointment with the state ref tommow so we took it off this weekend.

This got me wondering, what if i were to get pulled over, what could happen, what will happen. I know some cops are more lenient than others but i would hate to be in that situation. Does anyone know what the laws are here in california or any state for that matter? or know where to get them? has this happened to anyone, i hope not but i would like hear experienceces if you have them. Red Light Running (June 96, AZ, -- No ticket)
Speeding (September 96, AZ, -- 72 in a 55, ticketed)
Speeding (December 96, AZ, -- 105 in a 45, ticketed)
Illegal U-Turn (February 97, AZ, -- ticketed)
Speeding (Feb 14 1998, CA, -- 80 in a 45, ticketed)
Tail Light (June 03, NJ, no ticket)
Speeding (July 04, no ticket) -- didn't realize I was in a 35 zone.
and the last one: December 2004, because the cop was a prick. Dude pulled me over for window tint on a car with a temp registration and was a complete a**hole for no reason. When I whipped out the fact that I'm a NJ non-resident and the car isn't registered in NJ, he tucked his tail and sent me on my way.

Yes, I was a speeder in my younger days. I quickly matured and have only been hit the once because I didn't even realize I was in a 35 zone (was doing 52) and the PA Statie was cool and let me off.
