My buddy got pulled over in his s2000 last week in Glendale for loud exhaust (hks highpower). He was going 15mph tops in a construction zone(becuase of mean dips and stuff) and a bike cop pulled him over. At that speed thist car is NOT loud at all. He made him pop his hood. Luckly he had street legal AEM and DC headers. Now he has an appointment with the state ref tommow so we took it off this weekend.

This got me wondering, what if i were to get pulled over, what could happen, what will happen. I know some cops are more lenient than others but i would hate to be in that situation. Does anyone know what the laws are here in california or any state for that matter? or know where to get them? has this happened to anyone, i hope not but i would like hear experienceces if you have them. I live near the Blue Ridge Parkway and was pulled over by a Ranger on my way home because my license plate lights were out.

She came up to the car and said, "You know your plate lights are out."
I was like, "I have plate lights!? Sweet!"

Then I got a warning ticket. Freak...

Before that, I was pulled for speeding like 62 in a 55 in a Subaru Outback by a Trooper, received a warning.

Then pulled over by a City cop for 52 in a 35. I was late for school dang it! Received a ticket, got it reduced to improper equipment.

Last, I was pulled by a unmarked car on a back road at like 1:30am. I was asked what I was doing, I said going home.

He asked if I had any drugs or alcohol in the car. I said I have a bottle of guitar string cleaner, does that count? Nope.

Did I know how fast I was going in that 35mph zone back there? Yes, 35.

Your car looks very suspicious out this late on a back road. Sorry bout that. >_<
