My buddy got pulled over in his s2000 last week in Glendale for loud exhaust (hks highpower). He was going 15mph tops in a construction zone(becuase of mean dips and stuff) and a bike cop pulled him over. At that speed thist car is NOT loud at all. He made him pop his hood. Luckly he had street legal AEM and DC headers. Now he has an appointment with the state ref tommow so we took it off this weekend.
This got me wondering, what if i were to get pulled over, what could happen, what will happen. I know some cops are more lenient than others but i would hate to be in that situation. Does anyone know what the laws are here in california or any state for that matter? or know where to get them? has this happened to anyone, i hope not but i would like hear experienceces if you have them. Thanks, and sorry for the long story |

When you're driving a long distance trip, beware of those small town that the highway passes by, it slows down from 65MPH all the way to 45MPH. If there's a school + weekday, it goes WAY down to 25MPH.
I got a 75MPH at a 25MPH zone ticket when I was driving to Mammoth Mountain for a snowboard trip. What could I do? Drive 5 hours from Los Angeles to that lil town in that court date to fight it? Ticket was $300~ something dollars... -------------------- |
