I tried doing a search for what spark plugs people have used and have had good success with in their cars. Please let me know what type of spark plugs you are using and if they are good or bad and what experiences you have had with them if any. Also if you wouldn't mind saying what type of engine you have it installed on. Right now I have the 5SFE engine but am eventually wanting to go to a 3SGTE, any need to have different plugs for the two engine types?

Spark plugs are just a matter of psychology matters: this works better, that one works better, this has iridium tips and that one has platnium tips.
Either way you look at it, its all taste and preference and for a 7afe engine I would just stick to the cheap $1-2 spark plugs, cause it wont do you any better to run Irdium Plugs that cost $5-8. Spark plugs do not make you gain any more HP than wat came stock on your engine, unless of course you didn't gap it right, it does lag like crap. Unless u have a high performance engine, tick with cheapo! |
