Hey i think my car is idling a bit low. It is at like right under 1000 rpm's. also, what can i do about this? anyone have any ideas as to why its happening.

Normal idle speed (with the car in netural and all accessories turned off) for the 5SFE engine is 750 RPM, + or - 50 RPM.
Does your idle go up with the AC on? The idle should go up when you have the AC on to compensate for the extra load on the engine. If the idle doesn't go up, then there's something wrong. |
