Hi guys I friend of mine installed a start button on his mx-5 and he told me he would install one on my car for free my question is will this harm my car is it reliable?

yea I did this a while back to my ST...easy install
Ignited makes them (illuminated and non-illuminated), there are 4 wires to connect. 1 - to all time power 2 - to ground 3 - to ignition/starter wire (black/white comming from your ignition) 4 - ACC power you can either cut the black/white wire and make the button the only way to start the car, or splice into the wire and have either work. Either way you have to turn the key to the "on" postion. pics for reference ![]() about $40-$80 depending on what kind and where you get them -------------------- |
