Im not really sure where to post this, but i think it may be in the engine/transmission... but when we bought the 99 GT Convertible one the gas pedal on it is very stiff. I dont have this problem with my 94 st...and didnt know if this was just a GT problem or what. The gas pedal is almost stuck unless you push it really hard, which makes it almost impossible to idle at low RPMs (which we use for all the uphill driving around austin)... Is this something i can fix? I hope the explanation is clear enough.

Thanks in advance, Josh.

I had a similar problem. My problem was on the throttle body end of the cable, the part that the cable pulls was hardly lubricated, I just sprayed some wd 40 on it and everything was fine.

Had a similar problem with mine. I would check the throttle body first.

The problem behind my throttle sticking was an uncovered/unfiltered hole in the bottom of my stock air box. It got the throttle body hinges kinda gummed up and a dealer charged like $10 to clean it out for me. When I installed the Ingen intake, I added a breather filter to keep this from happening again.
