hwo u guys use the heat guns to fit them boomers in?...ive tired all method it doesnt work...any help guys?....the ends of the boomers (the one closest to the rear wheels) is bended in...if i can somehow make this "bend" straight i have confidence that this will fit up well....

ok.. what u need to do, is where the crease is, on the back side.. heat that up.. liek player said, dont melt it, once it starts turning blackish.. back it off..
Once you are heating it up, and you can feel that it is starting to flex easy, Turn off your gun and bend over in the direction you need it to form. Hold until it starts to cool. You are prolly going to have to do this over and over until it fits, and it still wont be perfect. For both them outside ends, I just heated along the crease and bend them out as much as i could for them to fit. It was a lot of heating and test fitting. They are on now and look pretty damn good. |
