a 2.2 liter engine puttung out 135hp in a fwd car, pathetic from a performance standpoint (now and 10 years ago)

 i want to reply to this thread also to let him know that buying a used celica and swapping in the 3S is still cheaper than buying a new civic Si but i cant seem to get that "confirmation e-mail"? oh and i hope he's not dissing on the 5sfte cuz im pretty sure he doesnt want manny over there  remy: dont get discouraged on buying a 6th gen man...sure its a bit on the sluggish side stock but with mods (usually boost) the 5sfe can be a beast. we actually have a member here who is doing 230hp 270tq on his 5sfte setup (manny is da man! lol) or u could always swap and have some serious power and potential. bboy --------------------  ..(formerly daily driven) 3S-GTE powered celica currently set @ 12psi.. |

Maybe in a straight-line, but other than that I can't think of anything else where the 3S-swapped Celica is better. I actually agree with the so called "Celica hater" on the 5S-FE. It ain't a performance oriented engine, period. |
