Hi, I got the premium system installed in my car and by the time I have enough money to revamp the whole thing I'd like to know if theres a way beside a cassette adapter to make my ipod play into the deck, is there something behind I could use for getting a clear input, even if it involve soldering...I'm even game to crack open the deck!

Oh and by the way..what happens if I remove the battery, the car manual says I'll have to input a code, which I obviously don't have kindasad.gif

Most manufacturers have an after market adapter that wires between your deck and an ipod "dock" that allows you to not only play through the stereo but also control the ipod from the head unit.

not for a toyota stock deck
you have to have a aftermarket deck with the cd changer I/O port to get a gadget like that
