a 2.2 liter engine puttung out 135hp in a fwd car, pathetic from a performance standpoint (now and 10 years ago)

I don't know why you should get offended at that guy's statement. It's true. I don't know about you guys, but I bought my Celica because I liked how it LOOKED...and it was cheap...something that can bepaid for in cash so it can be modded without worries of voiding warranties. If I would've wanted something fast, I would've bought a MKIV Supra. But I had a 530WHP MKIII, so it wasn't necessary.
 My point is...just chill...who cares about what they say? You all have gorgeous 6GCs that people see you on the road with and compliment you...and most don't know what car it is.  When do guys with Civics or other mainstream cars get complimented like that? EVERYBODY knows what a Civic looks like...no matter what year!
